BMW 2000 TI

Together with the BMW 2000, one of the most harmonious and popular versions of the New Class (Neue Klasse), the type BMW 2000 TI generating power of 120 hp was launched at the beginning of 1966 as the successor to the 1800 TI. While the BMW 2000 was distinguished from its sister models with their smaller displacement by rectangular headlamps, this model retained the round headlamps. In 1968, production of the BMW 2000 TI was discontinued after a production run of just 6,482 units Many customers preferred to opt for the rather more luxuriously equipped but technically identical sister model BMW 2000 tilux.
