BMW 325

The chassis designed for the Army Procurement Office (Heereswaffenamt) was highly complex. It had an independent suspension with all-round coil springs. The frame consisted of a construction of box-section beams with diagonal crossrails and a closed, sheet-steel floor panel. As at Stoewer and Hanomag, BMW also fitted a two-litre engine with an output of 50 hp. Apart from the use of dry-sump lubrication, the technology of the engine matched the power plant used in the BMW 326 Sedan.
