BMW Isetta Export

In autumn 1956, BMW launched a revised Isetta with numerous improvements. It was badged with the designation "Export" and differed very significantly from the predecessor model. Nearly 100,000 units of the Isetta Export were produced between November 1956 and May 1962 (plus 20,000 three-wheelers). This was an extraordinary success for BMW. The power units remained the same and, as in the case of the Isetta Standard, customers could choose between the 250 cc engine and the 300 cc engine.
