BMW 323i (E30)

The sportiest model in the BMW 3 Series (E30) was the BMW 323i when it was launched in 1982. The built-in 2.3-liter six-cylinder in-line engine (M20B23) was also interesting for more ambitious drivers. The superior basic equipment and optional extras such as sports seats or sports suspension were unique in its segment, and ABS was also available. The BMW 323i was also the base vehicle for several ALPINA models. As early as 1985, the BMW 323i was replaced by the even more powerful BMW 325i.
