BMW 320 model

The BMW 320 model was visually and technically very similar to the BMW 329. Production started up in February 1937. The six-cylinder engines installed had a larger bore and therefore a bigger displacement (1971 cc) compared to the BMW 329 model. However, the use of obsolete chassis technology meant that the driving characteristics left a lot to be desired. The BMW 320 model was supplied in this form up until December 1938. Customers could choose between a two-door sedan and a convertible, with both being manufactured in Eisenach. From March 1938, a four-seater convertible styled by Reutter was supplied.
