BMW X5 4.4i (E53)

The X5 4.4i was the first model of the new X5 Series. Customers were able to purchase this car from the market launch in September 1999. This car was powered by the 4.4 litre V8 engine M62B44TU. The power plant had already been used to motorise other models. However, from 2003 the X5 was equipped with a completely new V8 engine with the N62B44 designation. 124,800 units of the X5 4.4i were produced before the X5 Series E53 was discontinued.
