BMW 318d (E46)

The BMW 318d Sedan was a more keenly priced version of the 3 Series that was produced from 2001 to 2005. It was the smallest fleet in the 3 Series with just 31,216 units. The 1.9 litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine generated 115 hp and achieved a top speed of 204 km/h. The common rail direct injection ensured low consumption and a long range. In the first instance, the sedan was only supplied with a five-speed manual gearshift but a version with an automatic transmission powered by a 2.0 litre engine was supplied in 2003. The sedan was produced exclusively at the BMW plants in Munich and Dingolfing and it was a particularly attractive proposition for fleet customers.
