BMW 330i (E46)

From 2000, the BMW 330i Sedan (E46) replaced the previous flagship model (BMW 328i). The newly developed M54 engine with a displacement of 3.0 litres now packed 231 hp. The power unit accelerated the BMW 330i Sedan in the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds. From 2003 to 2005, an absolutely unique accessories package was supplied only in North America, specially for the sedans with a 3.0 litre engine: the "Performance Package" (also ZHP). This enabled the BMW 330i Sedan to generate up to 238 hp (175 kW). A more sporty chassis, transmission and visual appearance were associated with this package.
