BMW 02 Sedan

The two-door sedan had the standard body of the BMW 02 Series. The stylists under the leadership of Wilhelm Hofmeister created a functional body that simultaneously had a sporty appearance. This remained unparalleled and without competition for a long time in Germany with its simple form resembling a coupé and frameless windows in the two doors. Between March 1966 and July 1977, the BMW 02 Series Sedan was delivered to customers mounted with a wide range of different engines, from the BMW 1600 (from 1966) through to the BMW 2002 turbo flagship model (from 1973). A total of 827,535 sedans of the BMW 02 Series were produced.
