BMW 520i Touring (E39)

The entry into the world of the BMW 5 Series Touring models occurred in this model generation with the BMW 520i. Although the BMW 520i was the basic version, it was already equipped with a prestigious inline six-cylinder engine – a clear differentiating feature setting the automobile apart from the competition. The BMW 520i Touring therefore offered a high utility value in combination with superior and refined smooth running. In the model year 2001, the BMW 520i Touring was revised. The engine was given an increase in displacement and power output and with a displacement of 2171 cc it now generated 170 hp.
