BMW 328Ci Coupé (E46)

The BMW 328Ci Coupé was launched in the model year 1999. The coupé was powered by the six-cylinder inline engine from the BMW 328i E36 (M52TÜB28). The standout feature of the engine was the Double VANOS system, which had been used to greatly increase the efficiency of the engines. In 2000, the BMW 328Ci Coupé was replaced by the BMW 330Ci Coupé. That meant the departure of this engine from the BMW product range before the model was revised in 2001. The number of vehicles of this type produced was just short of 30,000 and they all rolled off the assembly line at the Regensburg Plant.
