BMW 3.3 Li (E3)

The model range of the "Grand Sedans" ("Große Limousinen") (E3) was quickly upgraded soon after their launch in 1968. In 1974 and 1975, BMW presented the two flagship models of the series with displacement of 3.3 litres, the BMW 3.3 L/Li. The BMW 3.3 Li was available to purchase from 1976. Powered by an engine generating 200 hp with electronic intake manifold injection and highly exclusive equipment, this sedan offered sublime sporting athleticism and the last word in luxury. This enticing combination cost customers DM 43,000, making it the most expensive BMW model of its era.
