BMW 1502

BMW was about to embark on an important model change in 1975. After ten successful years producing the 02 Series, a new generation came onstream with the first BMW 3 Series (E21). However, a basic version of the BMW 02 Series marketed with a particularly enticing price tag was intended to facilitate entry into the world of BMW. This BMW 1502 was supplied from 1975 and the final models of the 02 Series only rolled off the assembly line in Munich in July 1977.
