The convertible sedan was still very popular as a modification of the standard closed sedan. It involved the possibility of completely opening the middle section of the roof (previously anyway made of rubberised material). The soft top was rolled together and fastened above the rear trunk with leather straps. This provided passengers with the best possible view skywards while also giving them a high degree of protection against the headwind.
