The BMW 3.0 L launched in 1975 is the version extended by 10 cm of the BMW 3.0 S available since 1971. The two models shared virtually all the same technology but due to its higher weight, the BMW 3.0 L does not achieve a driving performance equivalent to that of its shorter counterpart. However, it has the advantage of slightly more luxurious features (such as power steering).
