BMW 3 Series Sedan (E46)

The four-door sedan was the standard body of the BMW 3 Series (E46). It served the sporty middle class and, thanks to its modern four and six-cylinder engines, quickly reached the top of its segment — almost 2 million sedans were sold. The design was created under the leadership of Chris Bangle. The design language successfully transferred the familiar proportions into the new millennium and still looks timeless today. The flowing lines, the kidneys integrated into the bonnet and the wave-like front headlights at the bottom edge were the unmistakable distinguishing features of BMW 3 Series Sedans. As a result, the new BMW face no longer appeared so strictly geometric and made a more modern impression.
