BMW 3 Series Touring (E36)

The BMW 3 Series from the third model generation was launched at the tail end of 1990 with much-improved aerodynamic contours. The Touring was launched in spring of 1995 as the fifth body version of the E36. The stylistically successful lifestyle estate car was initially marketed both as a four-cylinder in the versions 318i and 318tds, and as a six-cylinder in the versions 320i, 328i and 325tds. The 316i and 323i Types followed in 1996. Significant improvements were achieved by comparison with the previous model. These included the total space available for luggage and the performance and safety.
