BMW 325tds (E36)

The third model generation of the BMW 3 Series was initially launched on the market as a four-door sedan in the autumn of 1990. The complete redevelopment was a significant improvement in all respects compared with its predecessor and won over an expectant BMW 3 Series customer base right from the start. BMW once again set new benchmarks in the diesel class with the 325tds supplied from 1993. The new engine was fitted with a charge-air cooler and was a superb performer generating 143 hp with smooth-running characteristics and low petrol consumption.
