BMW 328i Convertible (E36)

The new BMW 3 Series (E36) had an unparalleled model diversity. After the debut of the 3 Series Sedan in 1990 and the 3 Series Coupé in 1991, a new convertible followed in 1993. The profile of the convertible and the coupé was dominated by the extended and flattened engine hood and created a very elegant and sporty effect. In common with the other 3 Series models, the convertible was also given the new six-cylinder inline engines in 1995. The new 328i Convertible advanced to become the top-selling convertible with nearly 50,000 units.
