During the years 1956 and 1957, BMW marketed two additional bodywork versions of the Isetta: the BMW Isetta Convertible and the Isetta delivery van derived from the convertible, known as the BMW Isetta Pick-up. A respectable payload up to 250 kg in weight could be carried by this little "transporter" ("Transporter"). The promotional material highlighted the advantages for leisure activities and for commercial firms. The Isetta delivery van was supplied with the 250 cc and the 300 cc engine. Production numbers were significantly below the convertible but a precise figure for the number of vehicles delivered cannot be determined.
