BMW 3 Series (E30)

The second generation of the BMW 3 Series was built in a unique diversity of versions up to that date. This was the first time that there had been a two-door and a four-door sedan in the 3 Series. Coachbuilder Baur supplied the convertible version as the "Topcabriolet", before BMW presented its own fully fledged convertible in 1985. Finally, the first "estate car" ("Kombi") built by BMW in volume production was launched with the 3 Series Touring from 1987. There were even versions with four-wheel drive. Furthermore, the BMW M3 also created a new trendsetter from 1986.
