The touring car represented the bodywork form that provided the best value for money when it came to transporting four people. However, there was very little protection against the elements and bad weather. The folding top made of canvas had a simple design and the side windows with Cellon panes had to be inserted on top of the doors if required. Nevertheless, driving was still a very draughty enterprise in this car. That's why this form of conveyance went out of fashion fairly rapidly owing to increasing aspirations for higher levels of travelling comfort. The rapid slide in sales figures quickly brought about the discontinuation of production.
