The touring car represented the bodywork form that provided the best value for money when it came to transporting four people. However, there was very little protection against the elements and bad weather. That's why this form of conveyance went out of fashion fairly rapidly owing to increasing aspirations for higher levels of travelling comfort. It was launched in February 1934 but production came to an end as early as October 1935 owing to the rapid slide in demand. Over this period, only 179 vehicles were manufactured.
