The 4-seater convertible provided lots of space for driving with the wind coursing through occupants' hair. It was also launched in February 1934 as the successor to the BMW 3/20 PS. Owing to the weak engine output, only a few purchasers opted for this otherwise popular body version. Only 284 units had been produced by September 1936.
