BMW Z8 Series (E52)

The BMW Z8 (E52) was presented to the public for the first time in Tokyo in 1997. Series production ultimately started up in 1999. This car represented an hommage to the BMW 507, a classic from the 1950s. The BMW Z8 continued this synthesis of luxury and athletic prowess. Only 5,700 automobiles were built and the V8 engine from the BMW M5 was installed in all of them. The BMW Z8 became famous not least as a result of the film "James Bond 007 - The World Is Not Enough" ("James Bond 007 - Die Welt ist nicht genug") (1999).
