BMW 303 Roll-top Sedan

The BMW 303 Roll-top Sedan was equipped with the newly developed six-cylinder inline engine (M78a or M303). From a displacement of just 1.2 litres the engine generated adequate output of 30 hp to power the lightweight car and developed a top speed of up to 90 km/h. The power consumption of 10 litres for every 100 km travelled was reasonable for the era. Hence, the roll-top sedan provided a perfect touring car.
