BMW 303 Roll-top Sedan

This modification in the standard sedan was still popular. It involved the possibility of completely opening the middle section of the roof (previously anyway made of rubberised material). To this end, the soft top was rolled together and fastened above the rear window using leather straps. There was an even rarer version with a rear window made of Cellon so that it was possible to roll down the folding top as far as the trunk mounted at the rear. This provided passengers with the best possible view skywards while also giving them a high degree of protection against the headwind.
