BMW Z3 Roadster 2.0 (E36)

The BMW Z3 2.0 was launched on the market in 1999 and it was only produced for a period of one and a half years. It provided the entry into the world of six-cylinder engines installed in the BMW Z3. The 2.0 litre engine (M52B20TU) generated an output of 150 hp. The series equipment was rather more upscale than in the case of the smaller power packs. Nevertheless, some 31,000 vehicles of this type were produced at the American plant in Spartanburg over the comparatively short production run.
