BMW 733i (E23)

In May 1977, the first BMW 7 Series (E23) was presented together with the models BMW 728, 730, and the flagship model BMW 733i. It was the only model to be equipped with a fuel injection engine (Bosch L-Jetronic) and a supplementary payment of around DM 10,000 offered an additional output of 27 hp compared to the entry-level BMW 728 fitted with a carburettor engine. From summer 1979, it was replaced by the new BMW 732i.
