BMW 730iL (E38)

The BMW 730i powered by an eight-cylinder engine was the entry-level model for the BMW luxury class at the product presentation of the new BMW 7 Series (E38). In return for a supplementary price of DM 10,000, the BMW 730iL was offered as a stretch version with a wheelbase extended by 14 cm. The BMW 730iL (E38) was only retained in the product range for barely two years. The entry-level eight-cylinder vehicle was replaced by the BMW 735iL in 1996. The BMW 728iL provided a six-cylinder version of the extended 7 Series.
