BMW 730iL (E32), six-cylinder

The BMW 730iL was the rather more luxurious version of the 730i entry-level model with a wheelbase extended by 11 cm. Although the BMW 730i was already on sale at the end of 1986, the longer version was only launched in the marketplace in the middle of 1988. Compared to the very popular BMW 730i with a production run of more than 80,000 units, only approximately 2,200 units of the BMW 730iL were produced.
