BMW 730i (E32), six-cylinder

The BMW 730i was the entry-level model for the BMW 7 Series (E32). It was powered by a six-cylinder inline engine (M30B30). There was a choice between a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic transmission. The top speed of the BMW 730i is 220 km/h with an output of 188 hp. A total of more than 80,000 units were produced, making it the second most successful model in the series, following close on the heels of the BMW 735i. In 1990, an Art Car was created by César Manrique.
