BMW 628CSi (E24)

The BMW 628CSi replaced the BMW 630CS in 1979. The 2.8 litre inline six-cylinder engine with electronic injection delivered 184 hp. As an entry-level model, the 628CSi was supplied at a comparatively favourable price of DM 46,000. In 1982, the BMW 628CSi underwent a model revision. This included a new front apron with integrated fog headlamps, revised front headlamps and standard rear fog lamps and fog headlamps, which were intended to improve visibility.
