BMW 528i (E28)

When the second generation of the BMW 5 Series (E28) was launched in the first half of 1981, the BMW 528i was the flagship model equipped with a six-cylinder engine generating a power output of 184 hp. The BMW 528i also possessed the driving characteristics of a sports car for those times with a top speed of 209 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than nine seconds. More than 80,000 units were produced, making the BMW 528i one of the most successful models in the second BMW 5 Series.
