BMW M3 (E46)

To this day, the BMW M3 (E46) is still one of the most popular models from the stable of M GmbH. It continues in the traditions of the iconic BMW M3 (E30) and is characterised by its low weight, the emotional inline six-cylinder engine and its sporty design. The first prototype was presented in 1999, series production started up in September 2000. Initially only supplied as a coupé, a convertible followed in 2001. Since the automobile was so popular, the facelift carried out in 2003 was only very subtle. The BMW M3 CSL was introduced in the same year and the popular Competition Package for the coupé came along in 2004. More than 85,000 units were sold worldwide and the BMW M3 (E46) was one of M GmbH's greatest successes.
