The four-door sedan provided the standard body for the BMW M5 (E34). The precise steering and agile handling were particularly impressive features captivating motorists. On the one hand, the suspension tuned for sporty driving and the luxury interior on the other, enabled the sedan to successfully achieve the balancing act between sheer driving pleasure and travelling in comfort and style. After the technical model upgrade in 1992, this was the most powerful series sedan produced in Germany, delivering a power output of 340 hp. In 1994, another model revision took place and this also revised some of the components determining visual appearance. The BMW M5 Sedan was produced until July 1995.
