BMW 315 convertible 2-seater (Drauz convertible)

Just one year after production was launched of the first BMW automobile powered by a six-cylinder engine of the Type 303, the 315 model came onto the market as the successor. Apart from the more powerful engine, the engineering, appearance and equipment of the car were equivalent to the previous model. BMW engineers had given the engine four hp more power by increasing the cylinder displacement to create 1.5 litres. The BMW 315 generating 34 hp was the first BMW able to break through the 100 km/h barrier.
