BMW Z4 3.0si Coupé (E86)

The BMW Z4 Coupé was the enclosed alternative to the BMW Z4 Roadster and it shared most of its engineering with the latter model. However, in contrast to the roadster, the coupé was powered by only two superlative engines. A new engine generation of the BMW six-cylinder (N52) generated power of 265 hp and accelerated the BMW Z4 3.0si Coupé in the sprint to 100 km/h within 5.7 sec from a standing start. The uncompromising sporting prowess was enhanced by a sport mode activated at the touch of a button. Approximately 12,500 units of the BMW Z4 3.0si Coupé were produced at the American Spartanburg plant.
