BMW 700 Coupé

BMW offered a coupé and a two-door sedan as standard bodies for the BMW 700. The coupé was already presented in June 1959 and the sedan was launched approximately three months later. From autumn 1964, the coupé was given a revised, rather larger body and after that was marketed under the designation BMW LS Coupé. Nearly 31,000 units of the coupé were produced in different versions from July 1959 until September 1965. This represented a proportion of about 16% of the total production of the BMW 700.
