BMW 328i Sedan (E46)

The BMW 328i Sedan was launched in December 1997. It is based on the concept of a compact sports sedan. The petrol six-cylinder inline engine (M52TÜB28) with displacement of 2.8 litres provided a torque of 280 Nm at just 3,500 rpm and achieves an output of 193 hp. In May 2000, the BMW 328i was replaced by the BMW 330i. The engine was removed from the BMW product range before the model was revised in 2001. Up to that point, almost 76,000 units were produced at the Regensburg, Munich and Rosslyn (South Africa) plants.
