The BMW Z4 M Coupé was produced from 2006 to 2008. It was the flagship model of the Z4 Series and shared the 3.2 litre six-cylinder engine from the BMW M3 (E46) with the Z4 M Roadster. Equipped with an M differential lock, the coupé was only supplied with a manual six-speed gearbox. The visual appearance of the BMW Z4 Coupé also differed from the BMW Z4 3.0si. The M front apron with aerodynamic flaps and the rear diffuser were the most striking features of the M version on the exterior. The interior featured carbon-embossed leather and white backlit instruments to create the appropriate ambience. Since only 4,581 units were built, the Z4 M Coupé like the M Roadster is a much-coveted modern classic.
