The BMW 323i Touring (E46) was powered by a six-cylinder inline engine with a displacement of 2.5 litres (M52B25TÜ). It featured Double VANOS and two additional catalytic converters in the exhaust manifolds. The model was exclusively supplied for the North American market and it was produced for only around six months in Munich. Approximately 3,600 units were manufactured within this short period of time. The BMW 325i Touring (E46) was the successor and this was finally also sold in Germany.
