Apart from the BMW M3, the BMW 330Ci Convertible was the most powerful engine for the 3 Series Convertibles (E46). It was launched in 2000 and took open-top drivers by storm. More than 90,000 examples were produced, giving this model by far the highest production statistics among the BMW 3 Series (E46) Convertibles. The vehicle was powered by a six-cylinder inline engine with a displacement of 3.0 litres (M54B30). These engines in particular had a more powerful braking system and consequently 17" tyres came as standard. Titanium trims inserted in the bottom of the bumper and headlamp inlays made of titanium provided a visual profile that set it apart from the "smaller" models.
