BMW 330Ci Coupé (E46)

The BMW 330Ci Coupé replaced the BMW 328Ci Coupé in 2000. The displacement of the new engine (M54B30) was increased to 3.0 litres (previously: 2.8 litres) and the power output was raised to 231 hp (previously 193 hp). In spite of the slightly higher fuel consumption that resulted from these changes, this was the most popular coupé in the BMW 3 Series (E46). In comparison with the other models, the vehicles powered by a 3.0 litre engine had a bigger braking system in order to generate greater braking power to slow down the more powerful coupé. 17" tyres were also provided for this reason. Other identifying features for the BMW 330Ci Coupé included the titanium-coloured trims inserted at the bottom of the bumper and the headlamps.
