BMW GROUP CLASSIC CLIPS

ONE YEAR FULL OF HIGHLIGHTS IN ONE TWENTY SIX.

A great classic year. In 2019, BMW Group Classic produced a wealth of fascinating clips during some major events and in a number of series it staged. All this is now available as a Christmas greeting on YouTube, ingeniously spliced in a funky review lasting 1:26 minutes. Have fun and Merry Christmas!

CELETRATING AN ANNIVERSARY: AWESOME PARKING FEAT AT ARISTOTLE.

Aristotle Square in Thessaloniki is imposing and iconic. Mayor Konstantinos Zervas will have briefly hesitated before approving this stunt carried out by the MINI Club Northern Greece. However, he can’t possibly have regretted it. The aerial photo of 90 MINIs and classic Minis parking synchronously to create a “60” (incidentally, it’s an awesome parking feat) is quite simply amazing. The participants came from all over Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria – the event was also paying tribute to Sir Alec Issigonis, the developer of the classic Mini with Greek roots.

LET’S FACE IT: STYLISH FRONT GRILLE AND KIDNEY FOR THE FIRST BMW 3 SERIES.

The first generation of the BMW 3 Series had big shoes to fill in 1975. But it did this with flying colours, owing to the styling and technological progress achieved in the successor to the legendary BMW 02 Series. The visual impact of the first BMW 3 Series reflected the new design line of the brand – with clear, sportily elegant proportions and an inimitable countenance at the front. A characteristic face was formed by a striking BMW kidney, horizontal stylish grille and round lamps that were consequently designed as twin headlamps in the top-range models. Since the headwind and weather conditions can blemish the front profile of a classic car as the years roll by, the BMW Classic Parts Shop supplies replacement parts to match the originals. There are absolutely no barriers to the first BMW 3 Series undergoing a complete “facelift”.
