Who wouldn’t say right at first sight: an incredibly beautiful automobile? The BMW 327 was launched as an exclusive touring saloon in 1937. It is a milestone in the history not just of BMW but in the construction of automobiles. This motor car marks a transition from the box-like style of coachwork from the era of horse-drawn carriages to the aerodynamic, athletic cars of today.

The success story of a supremely original idea for friends of classic cars continues. The Creme 21 Modern Classics Rally will take to the road for the 18th time from 11 to 15 September 2019. BMW Group Classic continues to be the main sponsor of the cult rally and is itself taking part with six young timers lining up at the start. The photos taken last year and posted on the media server of BMW Group Classic show just how much fun the participants can have (released for journalistic purposes). 

Once a year, the global community of MINI fans comes together at the International MINI Meeting (IMM). The road trip set off by MINI CLASSIC has set the scene for the past two years. Last year, the journey took a classic Mini styled in a surfer look from Munich to the beach in Praia de Mira in Portugal, where thousands of visitors came together for the 40th edition of the IMM. This year, the IMM is being held in the brand’s British home from 8 to 11 August 2019. Bristol is therefore the destination for the next road trip. They are a reflection of their time, the operating manuals of classic automobiles. And the reference works frequently offer useful information when it comes to changing something or carrying out a repair. It’s a good thing that BMW Group Classic isn’t simply interested in stocking headlamps, rear-view mirrors and all sorts of other specific original parts. Its archive also contains operating manuals for numerous models from yesteryear.
