BMW Hydrogen 7 (E68)

The BMW Hydrogen 7 was the world's first hydrogen-powered luxury saloon designed for everyday use. It was based on the BMW 760Li saloon and could run on both hydrogen and conventional petrol. The aim in developing this vehicle was to achieve a high level of practicality and thus make the car fully integrated into everyday use. This vehicle had not only undergone the complete series development process, but was also available to selected external customers as a small series of 100 units. As a result, all BMW Hydrogen 7s covered a total of more than 4 million kilometres.
