Since 2016, Moosacher Strasse 66 in Munich has been the BMW Group's centre for classic vehicles. The 13,000 m² site is located in the immediate vicinity of the BMW Group headquarters, BMW Welt, the BMW Museum, and the BMW plant. In addition to restoring and supplying spare parts for historic vehicles, BMW Group Classic also offers a wide range of event and conference facilities. Particularly symbolic: This was once the site of BMW's first plant in Munich, thus seamlessly integrating the brand's past with its future.
Our Location Highlights.
The BMW Group Classic Centre is the first port of call for the care, maintenance, and restoration of classic BMW vehicles. You can enjoy the view of the historic workshop from our Classic Café. At the heart of BMW Group Classic is the Historic Collection with around 1,400 production cars and motorcycles, aircraft and boat engines as well as racing cars and concept cars.

Guided tours of BMW Group Classic offer fascinating and exclusive insights into our history and facilities. The highlight is a tour of the impressive vehicle collection – the heart of our facility. Here our experts present rare road and racing vehicles, concept cars, and unreleased prototypes.
Historic vehicle collection.
The historic collection comprises some 1,400 vehicles, including production models, motorcycles, racing cars, concept cars, and the impressive Art Car Collection. It shows the development of BMW, BMW Motorrad, MINI, and Rolls-Royce as well as rare models from associated brands such as Dixi and Glas. A team of experts regularly selects vehicles that represent more than 100 years of history.
BMW Classic Café.
Our Classic Café offers a lively atmosphere and a unique insight into automotive history. Enjoy a cappuccino or espresso from our original Italian espresso machine while taking in the view of the historic workshop. We also serve delicious snacks and lunches every day to enhance your stay.

From BMW Welt: Drive about 1 km out of town on Lerchenauer Strasse, then turn left into Moosacher Strasse. BMW Group Classic is on the right-hand side.
From the A9 motorway: Leave the motorway at exit 75, then drive along Frankfurter Ring for 3 kilometres and then turn into Moosacher Strasse. BMW Group Classic is on the right-hand side.
The number of parking spaces available at BMW Group Classic is limited. As a rule, a parking space will be reserved for you. It is not necessary to register in advance to access the car parks. You can use the BMW Group Classic area at any time.
