Founded in 1929, the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este is an outstanding event for lovers of historic cars. Every year, around 50 exceptional vehicles display their elegance. A jury chaired by one of Italy's most influential car designers, Lorenzo Ramaciotti, judges these vehicles and awards the coveted BMW Group Trophy.

The event.
At this event, visitors can admire exceptional design masterpieces from different eras. Launched in 2002, the Concorso d'Eleganza Design Award for concept cars and prototypes highlights the link between automotive tradition and innovation and has been sponsored by BMW since 2005. In May 2025, you can once again get up close and personal with classic cars and how they're designed.
The hotel.
Villa d'Este, picturesquely set on the shores of Lake Como, is more than a hotel – it is a unique holiday destination.
