Spectacular landscapes, the Eternal City and the open sea: from 14 – 17 May 2015, the legendary long-distance road event will take place along its customary route from Brescia to Rome and back. The original race was staged in Italy from 1927 to 1957 before being revived in 1977, since when it has been held annually. Featuring vintage and classic automobiles, it is one of the highlights on the calendar for all classic car enthusiasts. That’s hardly surprising, since not only is the route an endless feast for the eyes, but the field of participants literally swarms with automotive eye candy. Only cars that took part in the original Mille Miglia from 1927 to 1957 are eligible for entry, turning the Mille Miglia into a spectacular rolling museum of cars.

1,000 miles, four stops, a one-off.

The 435-strong field of entrants covers the 1,000-mile distance over the course of four days. The start and finish point is the city of Brescia and overnight stops are taken in Rimini, Rome and Parma. The route:

Day 1: 14.05.2015: Brescia – Rimini
Day 2: 15.05.2015: Rimini – Rome
Day 3: 16.05.2015: Rome – Parma
Day 4: 17.05.2015: Parma – Brescia

75 years of racing history.

This year BMW Group Classic is fielding no fewer than six BMW 328 models. The occasion is even more special than usual in that 2015 marks the 75th anniversary of the BMW 328 Roadster’s Mille Miglia triumph. In 1940 it crossed the finish line with a 15-minute lead over the second-placed Alfa Romeo, securing a Mille Miglia clean sweep – class, team and overall victory – and BMW’s biggest racing success of the time.
